I watched the movie I don't remember the robot kid getting out of the underground ship, the ending of the movie is just the kid trapped in the underground which is why is this movie is sad it's about a boy living hell living in a mean desensitized world which makes it heartbreaking Is there anybody else who watched my version

The catastrophe could have simply been avoided by having shutters/doors at the glove entries. The glove and the firesprayers were the weakest link of the firewalls. And that there was no „kill button“ for the box in case things went sideways.

I must have watched Contact 25 times, and each time seems better than the last. Truly one of the best, most moving and thought provoking movies ever made. It really is Robert's best movie, and that's saying something!

As an unabashed horror (and especially found footage horror fan), I feel that this was/is an instant classic. So impressed with everything from concept to the acting to the technical marvel that they pulled off with such limiting and financial constrictions. It just goes to prove that one only need a great idea and the talent(s) to pull it off with limited resources and voila! 🙂

That the necrons only have one means of interstellar travel at FTL speeds is not true, they do have inertialess drives as well, that are said to be continuously accelerating beyond even light speed towards their destination. It's slower on average, but becomes faster at longer distances basically. Dolman gates are just their fastest method of sending ships around, but they can also teleport smaller objects undisclosed distances in the several light year range in an instant as well. The Warp is not the only sole means of FTL travel in WH 40k, you should rectify this in later series. I think it's more that they think warp travel primitive and not worth the effort than not being able to utilize it, if that was true than ships wouldn't be able to use it either and I'm sure they can make gellar fields if need be.

I don't think that the Necrontier were deceived exactly, the C'tan gave them everything that they wanted technically and the cost wasn't disclosed because they received benefits from it. Maybe they didnt have to sacrifice their souls in the process but they do essentially have unlimited time to reverse it, not for all but for many who still have intact consciousness after all this time.

Joker used to be part of of the League of Shadows Theory: Technically most of the Dark Knight Trilogy villains have either a military background or association. I think Joker is the same thing considering he did many acts that are unbelievable for a normal criminal mastermind to do like erase his identity, get himself military-grade weaponry, hide bombs on two ferries guarded by the literal U.S. Military, etc. It's so unbelievable that it made me convinced at times that Joker is a sacrificial lamb agent for the League of Shadows to defeat Batman and break his moral code. I say sacrificial lamb because the Joker prefers chaos over order which is a big no for the League. The Joker does his job and is discarded in a prison cell in Arkham. The League of Shadows is a militaristic terrorist organization that has a strong influence on most of the world governments and enacts purges to eliminate "corruption" and crime. Plus, Joker appeared immediately after Ra's Al Ghul's death which makes me think the timing is not a coincidence.
